ECOPOMEX & ACTIPONCE: PETROLEUM AND HYDROCARBON REMOVAL AGENT

Ecopomex is a mineral based recyclable hydrophobic sorbent and filtering material, that is used to remove all kinds of mineral and plant based floating liquid material like petroleum and hydrocarbons, from water and wastewater media. The granular product is an absorbent and treatment material which can be used in packaging forms that fits all types of sectors, and is fire resistant even under storage conditions.

• Our absorbent products can be used in marine accidents, fuel spillages, ports, inland waters, petroleum platforms, in other words at every location where petroleum derivatives are used.

• Most important characteristic of Ecopomex is that, the product can be reused again and again until its absorbing capacity is fully used and once the absorption capacity is reached, it can be recycled.

HYDROCARBONS/OIL FILTRATION

• Ecopomex is a material that can float on the surface of water for a long time, without sinking, even when its absorption capacity is used by petroleum and oil

• Ecopomex products are materials that can be used in all kinds of windy and wavy environments, which captures all the absorbed petroleum, fuel and oil within its structure and never releases it back.

GRIDS AND SEWERAGE SYSTEMS

• Ecopomex products can be used in grids in factories, car washing units, workshops and stormwater lines on highways, to retain oils and hydrocarbons at their source of origin, which will help to reduce the load of wastewater treatment facilities and prevent environmental pollution.

IN-SITU BURNING

• Our custom made Ecopomex product is used as a hydrophobic in-situ burning product that is resistant to high temperatures, to clean water in lakes and seas after an accident, by removing floating and combustible fluids like petroleum and hydrocarbons from water before they reach the shores, by in-situ burning, the product serves to ensure that the burning is achieved efficiently, with low smoke emission, ensuring a more clear water without any tar remnant left neither on the surface nor at the sea bed.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT

Our success is based mainly on our R&D Department and its related laboratories, which are dedicated for the referred work. We have completed 3 projects with TUBITAK incentives within the scope of our R&D studies.
